As women we are more than familiar with seasons of life. God has perfectly designed us to go through cycles and seasons wherever we welcome it or not.
Every season has a purpose and there are different requirements to each season. There are different strategies needed to live and thrive in each season. Winter requires extra planning due to the climate and the country you might live in compared to Springtime.
There is wisdom in understanding and navigating each season well. Every season has a time limit and there are actions required of us to complete and valuable lessons to learn. Experience is one of the many rewards we gain on completion of a new season.
Ecclesiastes 3:1 NKJV
“To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven:”
Going through a season requires patience and a determination to go through the process of that season. Just as in life we have different routines needed in the winter time than in the summer. There are seasons we go through that are full of warefare from the enemy, a waiting season, a season of faith and courage, weeping season, building season, and seasons of blessings.
As we experience these seasons in our spiritual life we need to learn how to recognise the signs of a season shift. With season transition there are clues/signs that announce sometimes loudly or quietly the transition to a new season.
“of the sons of Issachar who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do, their chiefs were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their command;”
I Chronicles 12:32 NKJV
We need to, like the sons of Issachar, understand and recognise the times and signs of a season and when the Lord reveals to us the ending of the old season and the start of a new one.
What are the signs to look for in a season shift?
Prophetic unction: God reveals to you personally through dreams, visions, a still small voice, His Word etc. Whatever is revealed to you by God you need to record it. As you record it; continually pray over the revelation until clarity/confirmation is released.
Changing relationships: It might be that some relationships in your life will shift and change as not all relationships crossover into the new season. It is God’s way of making space for new relationships and divine connections and ending some that was only ment for the previous season. Do not reopen relationships that God has ended. Pray into all relationships so that your eyes will be open.
3. Out-growing spaces: is a feeling of confinement, frustration, restlessness and restriction that comes when your environment or location (or perhaps geographical) becomes ‘too small’ for where God is leading you. The expansion God is releasing into you is too small for your current location. God uses frustration as a MOVER to move you from a place of comfort into the unknown. This could be in the form of a job promotion, expansion of your business or creation of a business, growth in ministry or a literal move geographically to a new city, region or country. Record and identity the areas of restriction and pray for the strategy for your expansion.
Understanding the signs of a new season shift is just as important as going through the season. Its takes great faith such as you have right now in this moment and the determination to know that “with God all things are POSSIBLE !
