”Then the Lord said to me, “Write my answer plainly on tablets, so that a runner can carry the correct message to others. This vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed.“
Habakkuk 2:2-3 NLT
We have heard this scripture quoted many times in church or in a sermon. It’s usually used in reference to writing a business idea or ministry blueprint that God has rested in your heart to begin.
But what if this scripture is referring to more than just writing ‘the vision’?
What if God intended a legacy be attached to the vision or dream God has given you? That the vision is ment to out-live you?
Understand that God has made his Children to be problem-solvers in this earth. We are both light and salt which are solution-based necessities needed in this earth. Light solves the problem of continuous darkness and is an instrument for growth and salt solves the preservation/healing problem in all climates.
”“You are the salt of the earth. But what good is salt if it has lost its flavor? Can you make it salty again? It will be thrown out and trampled underfoot as worthless. “You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house.“
Matthew 5:13-15 NLT
We are solution carriers not just for our present and future but also for generations after us. The vision that God has placed in your heart and or mind is necessary to this Earth. It is needed and there are people praying, needing and desiring your solution that God has placed in your heart to fulfil. Did you know that You and the vision God has placed in you is the answer to someone’s prayer today?
What do you do in the present if the vision given to you is for a future time?
Thank God for the vision and its completion through prayer and worship moments
Pray for the runners, the readers, the workers and the financers of the vision
Write the vision as it was shown to you by God EXACTLY (on paper and/or electronically)
make practical preparations for the vision (research, business plan, applications, etc)
Do not share your vision with everyone; only who God has assigned to help, assist and build with you and/or for wise advise
God is the one that has given you the vision so trust and believe He has already trained you, equipped you, prepared you and provided for you and the vision to be successful in EVERY WAY!!
As you have received the vision God is waiting on you to do your part as He does His part.
What is stopping you from writing the vision and trusting God with it?
Just do it! For with God; ALL THINGS are possible!
Let’s pray
Jesus, we come before you now as your children believing the vision you have given us. As this vision is for a future time, we choose to prepare and trust you with what you have given us. We thank you in advance for the readers, runners, builders and financiers of the vision. In Jesus name,
AMEN!
